Fresh Tinctures

Tinctures are taken as an alternative to infusions and decoctions. It is a plant extract made by soaking herbs/barks/seeds in liquid (generally alcohol/vinegar/glycerine) for a specified time, it is then strained and the plant material is discarded. The liquid is then used theraputically. Tinctures can be different concentrations eg, 1:2, 1:5, 1:10.
